Pullman

Pullman is the hotel for high-class business travellers. It usually offers a very good standard and great design, and I'd place it somewhere between four and five stars.
Compared with a Novotel, it's more upscale: a bit fancier and a little more luxurious. The furnishings are more opulent, and the service is usually better as well. Most Pullmans have a fitness area, many have a pool, and there are often Executive floors or Executive lounges. The bars and restaurants are usually great, and the whole place has real class.
I'm a big fan of Pullman, especially the ones in Asia, which are really great. The best example is the Pullman New Delhi Aerocity in India, which is a wonderful hotel. Another one from my trips is the Pullman Cairns International in Australia.
